A criminal who came as a temporary "driver"

A driver, Abdul Majeed, working for B-97 for past few months suddenly declared, " I am leaving for an operation of my father in Rahim Yar Khan." Then he offered a temporary replacement, a young lightly bearded person. His name Abdul Wahab son of Khuda Bakhsh born 1982.

After a couple of days, on Thursday, May 27, 2010, it was decided to record some of his history. As it was tried to take a picture, his face turned RED and he hid his face with his cap, and literally tried to escape from the camera. A very un-usual behaviour for any domestic servant.

It aroused suspicion that his intentions are not noble. So he was dismissed immediately. Unfortunately, during this dispute he got enraged further, and picked up some stones and injured Mr. Hashim: who bled profusely from his forehead, and in this chaos the driver made a clean escape.

It is surprising that though a large number of persons had gathered from Mohalla, including the day time guard Gul Sher, no one could stop this criminal, and the guard stood like a statue, as the criminal fled with his motorbike (just pushing it, as the keys were with the employer, taken from his bike at that time).

His address was checked out: his CNIC card had a fraudulent Karachi address of a vacant 600 sq yards plot, C-84 Block 15, Gulistane Jauhar. Surprisingly NADRA issued him a CNIC on this un-verified address. The matter has been reported, as an SMS to 7000 returns his CNIC as valid.

His CNIC number is: 42201-3362365-7. His permanent address recorded therein as Ghangla, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan. He was using a motorbike KWJ 1494.

We strongly recommend that you all beware of this person. He has reportedly worked for Sajid B-35, too for sometime. He obviously has 'friends' in the street. An analysis is thus that there is something fishy going on in our Mohalla.

And the guards are not reliable to perform in such situations. They either need training or a replacement by a Security Agency.

The incident has been registered with Gulistane Jauhar Police Station, and the Police is on a look out for this criminal. They are also trying to determine if he has links with some gangs, and a record in other Police Stations.

Verification of CNICs of Our Two Guards Carried Out

Using following system of NADRA

Two SMSes were sent to 7000, and answers received from NADRA. Both of the CNICs have been verified for their names.

This has cost Rs. 12 each of the CNICs. Earlier a copy of new CNIC of Mahrab was made and it cost Rs. 30 (Color).

Regards.
