No FIR - Police often says no one came to register complaint

A bride was looted while exiting a parlor on her marriage evening. Her brother was shot and wounded. The family already occupied with the marriage, the wounded boy, and other family matters decided NOT to goto police.

And using some legal loopholes, the Police did NOT register an FIR too.. The law needs to be reviewed, along with the Police Procedures.


Not long ago, our area residents too caught a person trying to scale a bungalow wall, but he was later released on similar grounds. As no one was willing to lodge an FIR, the Police had all the opportunities to act at its whims. The suspect, thus, got away to commit further crimes.
