The Project Contributions Refunds

The area near and around the mosque Afzal al Uloom is a focus of repeated armed robberies and car snatchings.

The house B-5 was robbed 4th time recently. It is owned by one Mr. Murtaza Naqvi. He and his neighbour Mr. Shahbaz Aslam, living in C-145, got fed up with the slow progress of membership required for a successful start of a CPLC system.

After a recent robbery in B-3, and also in B-5, they broke down, and started to misbehave with the Convenor. He therefore, decided to immediately refund their basic contributions of Rs. 5,000 each. Following persons have been paid back already:

1- Ashaar, B-145-2 (Cash repaid)
2- Abidi, B-16 (Cash repaid)
3- Col Nazim, C-107 (Cash repaid)
4- Zahid Hussain, C-106 (Cheque returned)
5- Ahmedullah, C-111 (Cheque returned, his house too was recently robbed)
6- Murtaza Naqvi, B-5 (Cash returned; his house robbed a record 4th time)
7- Shahbaz Aslam, C-145 (Cheque returned to Murtaza Naqvi for onward handing over; He grossly misbehaved with the convenor)
8- Shakeel Ahmed, C-128 (Cheque returned)
9- Naveed Amir, C-xxx (Cash refunded)


More refunds to people not living in the immediate street of B-90- B-100 and B-33-around B40, will be made soon. There were a total of 22 paid members, including the convenor.

An effort will now be made to find supporters of the project in the vicinity of the B-100 street, instead of going out to an expanded area.
