‘CPLC network to be expanded to whole province’

Oct 24, 2008  -- KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister for Jails Gul Mohammad Jakhrani said on Thursday that CPLC network would be expanded to Police Helpline 15, jails, and other areas of Sindh.

The adviser was talking to the media after his visit to CPLC office. He was accompanied by IG Jails Mohammad Yamin Khan, CPLC Chief Sharfuddin Memon and other officials.

CPLC chief Sharafuddin Memon told the adviser that five zonal districts of the CPLC were working in Karachi. He said they receive over 2,000 complaints daily that include 20 percent emergency calls. We have obtained 70 percent success in solving the cases kidnapping for ransom, he said. ppi
